New Watch Works

New little project. Quartz pocket watch my Dad bought me years ago, that has recently stopped running, on the right.  

New mechanical donor watch on the left. 

Either the works from the new one will go in the other case, or the lid from the old one will go on the new one… 

Lid hinges look pretty close, will try swapping lids first. 

If that don’t do it, I’ll pull the guts, and see about making a custom spacer ring to hold the new works in the other case.
