Case 22087 Medium Jack Knife. 

Just this last week I won this one in a giveaway on the traditional knives sub forum at bladeforums.com 

It’s Case’s  standard True Sharp stainless steel  (basically 420HC) and black Delrin.  2 blades, clip and pen secondary, 3-3/8″ closed length.  Just your standard, basic, old fashioned,  “jack knife”.  It’s done in a high polish frame, with their “As ground” satin blade finish. 

(As a side note, I wasn’t sure of that blade finish when I first got one, but this is my 3rd with it, and I really do like it. I actually think I might now prefer it to the high polish blades. )
It’s interesting, I’d really liked the look of the blue bone Ford branded version they’re doing of this knife, but skipped on it several times thinking it’d be too short for my preferences. (And at that a bit spend at $55 to $60 for a knife smaller than I’d really like) 

But it’s really nice actually, the frame is comfortable and does offer a really good grip. 

Also interesting,  is that I’d never really liked a the standard jack knife pattern before. Never really did anything for me, and I actually already have 3 or 4 of them.  

But this one stood out even before I had it, since I did want it when I opted into the GAW (GiveAWay).   

Theres just something about this little black beauty I guess!
