This guy was in a small area covering two neighbors pieces of property… I don’t know what it is about that spot, but every summer for about 4 years now there has been a young bull hanging out in that spot every summer… And they are (mostly)different bulls, because I know who shot 2 out of the last 3! Gonna start to call that spot the bull magnet!
Forgive the poor quality, these were taken at a full 16MP, but from about 75 yards away…
Plus, an unfortunate sighting of the alaska state bird;

Ahh, the Alaskan State bird. Watch out, by the end of summer there will be so many they might just carry you away!
Hmmm…. I wonder if we could catch, tame, and train about a half million of them, and use them as pack animals… I mean, a few hundred thousand of the little suckers(no pun intended!) could no doubt pick up and move a moose for us… 😉
