Surprise in the mail tonight…
A old leather sheath from a friend, for my Western Hunter that was Dads. I don’t remember there being a sheath for this knife for the last ~20 years, and I’ve been keeping it in a really sophisticated cardboard and packing tape blade cover… 😉

I’m gonna re-stich a couple spots where the thread is broken, hit it with a leather finish deglazer to open the pores, and throw some light oil on it so its not so dry, and put ‘er into service! Might move the keeper strap to where it sits tight over the guard instead of so high too…
