Mail call…

Came in the mail this week;

GITD handled Esee Izula pocket fixed blade, and a BIG Titanium caribiner.

The Ti caribiner is a thank you gift from a guy on the forums, for something I offered to do for him and another guy… 

The thing I am doing for them is making free(other than materials and shipping costs) handle scales for a model of knife they both own. The Izula… So, one guy sent me his to have the handles fit to it— And he paid for the materials and shipping etc for the other guy too, so the other guy sent us both a gift as thanks… Since both guys have the same knife, I can fit them to one knife, so only one guy had to send the knife to me…

Its a nice knife. I’d wondered about getting one of these, so part of my motivation for the offer was to get to handle one without buying it 😉 The other motivation is I like doing/making things for folks, and it gives me a challenge/a project to work on.

Will no doubt post both sets of new scales soon. 🙂
