Ugh. This stuff is soposed to be SO easy to work with, but I just can’tseem to get it… Not a new venture either… 8 years I’ve been trying to do this stuff, it just doesn’t like me.
Anyway, after about 3 tries, I got a sheath for a knife for a giveaway…
Older Knife by me, about 6 years ago. Stabilized curly maple handle, elk antler guard, and blade made by Mariano Gugliotta of Brazil. Blades are forged and ground 5160 high carbon, in a signature style of the maker, chipped flint IIRC was what he called it, soposed to look like knapped stone blades.
I actually have two more of these blades… Getting them came with a hassle and a fiasco that left a bad taste in my mouth, added to my discontinued carry and real use of non folding knives shortly afterwards, I’ve never really been able to do anything with them…
Looks great!
